      • Module 2 – Employer’s ClaimsUnderstand which clauses allow the Employer to claim from the Contractor and the procedures that need to be followed.

      • Module 4 – QuantumDiscover what can be claimed in different circumstances. Understand the most important principles to consider when making a claim and calculating quantum & cost. Learn about extensions of time, cost and profit.

      • Module 5 – NoticesUnderstand why not submitting notices can set a just claim up for failure. Learn the requirements for various notices, what a notice should contain and how and when notices should be submitted. Understand the consequences of not giving notice, conditions precedent to entitlement, and whether these may be legally applied.

      • Module 6 – Procedure and Claim PresentationUnderstand the pitfalls of why Contractor’s claims often fail and how to avoid them. Learn about the Module 6 FIDIC procedure and the requirements for a claim submission. Learn how to properly and professionally present a claim to help it reach a timely resolution.

      • Module 7 – Engineer’s Responses and DeterminationsUnderstand how disputes may occur as a result of poor responses by the Engineer. Learn why it is important that the Engineer fulfills his contractual obligations and the consequences of not doing so. Learn about the purpose of an Engineer’s response and what should be included. Discover the procedure for dealing with claims so that the Engineer’s obligations are met and disputes are avoided.

Course Access

Once registered, students will receive a confirmation email with details of how the course will run and the dates/times for the weekly tutorial sessions. You will also receive access to a student account on the Claims Class platform. Recordings of the live webinars and associated course materials will be uploaded here each week, ready for students to access on demand.

Refund Policy

Claims Class does not offer refunds for this course but we will let you transfer the fees to another course if you wish. Where there is a difference in fees, we will either refund the surplus to you or ask for the balance.
