C9M8 Finalising the Claim

PCINT

Module 8 covers everything that you need to do to finalise your claim and we examine 4 key components:

Executive Summary and Statement of Claim

We are now coming the end of the claim narrative and in this part of Module 8 we discuss two very important parts of the claim narrative – the Executive Summary and the Statement of Claim, including what they should include and how they may be easily compiled.

Substantiation

Substantiation is required within the claim to prove that statements made, points relied on, facts stated, calculations and so on are true. In this part of the module, we discuss the various documents that should be included in the claim submission and how they should be ordered and referenced.

The Appendices

Here we examine how the various appendices should be presented and ordered to ensure that the substantiating documents are organised.

Third Party Review

Finally, before the claim is finalised, we discuss the importance of carrying out a third-party review.
